Slowly working my way towards completing my first 100 miles of the year, but with the month nearing an end and not even having reached 1/25 of my overall goal, I will need to step things up in the month of February.
The bicycle is the retired Matte Black 4 from State Bicycle, utilizing an Origin 8 front rack.
Late last week I did make a stop into see Michael Hudecek, the owner of Forest City Portage. Michael will be building me a custom, hand-made backpack that will be incredibly versatile, and serve multiple purposes in every facet of my lifestyle.

Every time that I would ask him, "Do you think I can have this..." or, "Would it be too much work to do that..." his response was always, "I can do anything you need me to."
I'm definitely excited to get my hands on the finished product.
