Best of 2014

As another year begins, I want to take a moment to recap a few of my favorite images from the past year. Some of which I prefer based on their visual content, and others I prefer based on the story that accompanies them. A huge thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way, from my largest of endeavors, to my very smallest of moments.
I love you all and appreciate you beyond words.
xx

  2. how did you get such bright light in the triangle beams shot and the final cave looking shot?

    1. The shot between the triangular beams isn't lit in any special way at all. 500 ISO, 7.1f, and a 6-second exposure.

The cave-looking shot is inside of a large maze of sewer drains that suffers from 100% darkness at any time of the day. That particular image was shot at 500 ISO, 6.3f, for 30 seconds, and the light was supplied from two flashlights and simple light-painting techniques.
